Raquel Johnson is a photographer based in San Francisco, California. With a background in graphic design, Raquel’s photography represents years of seeing and using light, color, form, shape and composition to inspire wonder, communicate an idea or provoke an emotion.
Her work has been featured in The Philips Collection, Community in Focus, 2020, Houston Center for Photography’s Learning Curve 17 and various other art shows. She received a B.A. in Graphic Design in 1989, and a Certificate of Advanced Photographic Practices in 2026.
Her new work “A Secret to Keep” will be published in 2027.
